Memorial day event pt.2
The next morning the truck got it’s second load…

loaded up for rendezvous
It don’t look like much but they are some stuff I did not want to leave out overnight outside the lodge.
The weather was holding on warm and humid with a good breeze and the drive was again pleasant out to the site.
I ended up taking a load back the next day to make room for my roll away bed after a night of trying to sleep on the ground…
I was not thinking about how hard the ground would be…
At any rate, the weekend went well and we all had a pretty good time.
There were a few new faces in camp, Greg and Sarah from the Owl’s Nest in prentice, along with his dad Ron had their first rendezvous, as did my son-in-law Rob and his son Dominic.
Rose Sutton was there and won the camp cook off competition with a blackbean chicken chili..

There were others but I am really bad with names (sorry).. I had notes written to finish this narrative but they were lost in a power outage yesterday. |
Here are over a hundred pictures taken by Watchingwolf of the competitions and camps…

Indeed those pictures came from my camera, but one of the youngsters from the Owls Nest (hooties?) actually got the nice action shots from the hawk and knife.
